Elizabeth is a Latina from Mexico who brings over ten years of experience in successful initiatives focused on entrepreneurship, engineering, and technology.
Her achievements include leading New York City based robotics competitions and co-leading Samsung’s national Science, Technology, Engineering and Mathematics (STEM) education program. She also played a critical role in actualizing a technology startup, taking it from an idea to a company backed by over $2 million in venture capital. To date, the company has employed over 900 part-time workers.
Most recently, she worked for Samsung’s innovation division. She was part of an international team that invests in early-stage technology companies based in New York City, San Francisco, Tel Aviv, and Berlin.
She currently serves as C.E.O. of latinoTech, an organization that promotes the development of Latinx entrepreneurs and innovators by facilitating access to experts, talent, and venture capital. Elizabeth holds a Bachelors of Engineering in Mechanical Engineering from the City College of New York.
